Ladybird Landing is a boat access site located on the shores of Eufaula Lake in eastern Oklahoma. The site offers a paved boat ramp for easy launching of kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats. Eufaula Lake is the largest lake located entirely within Oklahoma, formed by a dam on the Canadian River. It is known for its excellent fishing, with crappie, sand bass, catfish, and black bass reaching record sizes. Below the dam, the tailwaters also harbor sizeable striped bass over 40 pounds.
In addition to the boat ramp, Ladybird Landing features a campground with RV and tent sites. The campground is operated by the Army Corps of Engineers, so facilities like restrooms and a playground are available. Paddlers and boaters looking for easy access to explore Eufaula Lake and fish its productive waters will find Ladybird Landing a convenient launch point.
