About This Access Site
This developed public boat launch on the west side of Lake Bellaire in Bellaire, Antrim County offers convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The site features a concrete boat ramp, dock, and trailer parking, making it suitable for launching various watercraft. Restroom facilities are also available on-site.
**Important:** A Michigan Recreation Passport is required to use this DNR access site. The west ramp is noted as being more substantial than the alternative north-end access on Grass Lake Road, making it a preferable launching point for most paddlers and boaters. From this location, paddlers can explore Lake Bellaire and connect to nearby water trails, including the Lower Intermediate River that flows south toward downtown Bellaire.
