About This Access Site
**Location & Access**
Lake Brady Park is located west of downtown Brady off FM 2028 to FM 3022 at the Brady Creek dam. This concrete boat ramp is approximately 20 feet wide and provides access to Brady Creek Reservoir, a 2,020-acre impoundment. The site is open year-round with no access fee required.

**Water Conditions & Boating Notes**
Brady Creek Reservoir has a maximum depth of 48 feet at conservation pool elevation (1,743 ft). The boat ramp performs well at higher water levels; however, water level fluctuations can affect accessibility during low-water periods. Paddlers should check current lake conditions before launching, as the ramp may become difficult or unusable when the reservoir drops significantly. The reservoir's substantial size and depth make it suitable for kayaking and canoeing, though typical reservoir conditions apply—check weather and wind forecasts before heading out.
