About This Access Site
Lake Cahuilla County Park offers a scenic setting at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains, but it does not provide boat access for kayaks, canoes, or motorized watercraft. The 135-acre lake is intended for non-motorized recreation like hiking, picnicking, and camping.

The park features expansive lawns, shaded areas, and a group picnic area with barbecue grills. It's a popular spot for special events and family gatherings. However, swimming and boating are not allowed on the lake. Visitors looking to paddle or boat will need to seek out other nearby access points or water bodies. The Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument, just a short drive away, may offer more suitable options for those seeking a scenic paddling experience.
