Lake Clyde offers a single public boat ramp located 5 miles south of Clyde in Callahan County, Texas. The 449-acre reservoir is suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats, with a maximum depth of 30 feet. The shoreline features brush and black willow trees that provide scenic paddling and shelter. For inquiries about access conditions or ramp status, contact the City of Clyde Parks Department at 325-893-5339.
**What to Know:** Shore access is limited to the north side of the reservoir. The lake has no marina, boat rental facilities, bait shop, or ADA-accessible fishing access on-site. Paddlers should plan accordingly and bring their own supplies. Lake Clyde is popular for fishing (Largemouth Bass, Channel Catfish, Crappie, and Sunfish), so expect moderate recreational use, particularly during fishing season.
