About This Access Site
Lake Cooley Park offers excellent public access to this 330-acre reservoir on Jordan Creek in Spartanburg County. The facility features a dual boat ramp suitable for motorboats and larger watercraft, plus a dedicated handicap-accessible kayak launch and dock—making it ideal for paddlers of all abilities. The park is located at 100 Cooley Dock Road in Inman and is owned by the Startex-Jackson-Welford-Duncan Water District but operated by Spartanburg County Parks Department.

The park provides ample amenities including paved parking, two restroom facilities, a fishing pier, and a playground. The boat ramp operates during park hours. Kayakers and canoeists will appreciate the separate launch facility designed specifically for paddle craft.
