About This Access Site
**Access & Facilities**
Lake Cushman State Park offers three paved boat launch ramps with substantial parking, making it an excellent access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats on this 41,500-foot freshwater shoreline. The launch is located at the bottom of Lower Lake Road (accessed via Potlatch-Cushman Road, about 2.5 miles from Highway 119). A day-use fee applies. The park also features a small store for any last-minute supplies and spans over 500 acres with nearby camping options, including the reservable Staircase Campground.

**Location & Conditions**
Located northwest of Hoodsport in Mason County, Lake Cushman is accessible year-round and supports various fish species including trout, bass, and salmon. The Staircase Ranger Station nearby (360-877-5569) operates intermittently during summer months and can provide information. Note that internal combustion-powered motorboat restrictions apply on portions of the lake. Multiple parking areas are available both at the launch and across the street.
