About This Access Site
Lake Delta is a 167-acre lake in Bayfield County offering public boat access via a dedicated boat ramp located at Perch Lake Recreation Area. The ramp is situated approximately 7 miles south of Iron River on County Highway H to Scenic Drive Road (near 62020 Delta Park Road). With a maximum depth of 30 feet and moderately clear water, the lake is suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. The lake supports populations of panfish, largemouth bass, and northern pike for anglers.

All watercraft launched from the ramp—including canoes, kayaks, and rowboats—require passes. The adjacent Perch Lake Campground offers overnight accommodations with 16 campsites (non-reservable), a dock, and basic amenities including water and toilet facilities. This makes Lake Delta an accessible option for paddlers seeking a day trip or multi-day paddling experience in the Bayfield County area.
