Lake DeMontreville is a 157-acre lake located in Lake Elmo, Washington County, Minnesota, offering a public boat launch for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters. The lake has a maximum depth of 24 feet and provides a scenic paddling destination in the Upper Mississippi River Valley region. To reach the access, turn south on Highlands Trail toward the lake, then follow the lakeshore around to the right (west) to find the boat ramp.
**Important Note:** Lake DeMontreville has surface water use restrictions in place. Paddlers should check the rules posted at the access site before launching. Shore fishing is limited to the road shoulder along the west shore near the access area. The lake's relatively modest size makes it suitable for paddlers of various skill levels, though conditions and wind patterns should be monitored before heading out.
