Lake Gogebic (North)

Located in the northeast section of Lake Gogebic near Bergland, this access site is situated off Ash Street (south of M-28) and offers a two-lane concrete boat ramp with an attached dock. The facility includes gravel parking and basic amenities such as picnic tables and a vault toilet, making it a straightforward launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats.

The ramp provides access to Michigan's largest inland lake, which supports diverse fishing opportunities year-round including walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, and whitefish. **Note:** The water is shallow in Bergland Bay near the ramp with rocks close to shore, so exercise caution when launching and departing. This north location is one of several access points on Lake Gogebic, so consider it based on which section of the lake you plan to explore.
