About This Access Site
Located in White City within the Ottawa National Forest area, Lake Gogebic State Park offers a maintained boat launch providing access to Lake Gogebic, a substantial water body suitable for various paddling and boating activities. The access site is part of a larger state park facility that features nearly a mile of beach frontage, swimming areas, and picnic facilities for day-use visitors.

The park operates on a first-come, first-served basis for camping and day-use access. A Michigan Recreation Passport is required for vehicle access to the state park. Amenities include the boat launch, parking area, and nearby camping options at Bobcat Lake Camp (also within the park) if you're planning an extended trip. The sandy beach area and established facilities make this a convenient launch point for exploring Lake Gogebic's recreational opportunities.
