Lake Goss

Lake Goss County Park provides public boat access on the east end of this scenic freshwater lake located three miles west of Langley on Whidbey Island. The access point features a sand/gravel boat ramp and parking area managed by WDFW, making it a convenient launch spot for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters. The lake itself is a popular destination for paddling and fishing, with a peaceful, sheltered setting surrounded by woodland.

This freshwater lake is well-suited for recreational paddling and is regularly stocked by state fisheries. Note that some lakes in Island County restrict motorized boats—check posted signage at the ramp for any specific regulations on Lake Goss before launching. The park also includes a small beach area and picnic facilities, making it a good option for a full day of water-based recreation.
