About This Access Site
Lake Griffin Marina offers a convenient single paved boat ramp with a courtesy dock for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats onto Lake Griffin in Lake County, Florida. The facility features ample parking and restrooms for visitor convenience. A small launch fee applies ($2). The ramp is operated by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and is open 24 hours daily, making it accessible for early morning and evening paddling trips.

For paddlers, Lake Griffin is a scenic freshwater lake popular with recreational boaters and anglers. The marina facility includes boat slips and is staffed by Fisherman's Wharf (352-360-0600) for additional information about water conditions and services. This access point is ideal for launching day trips or exploring the lake's waterways. Equestrian camping, canoeing, boating and fishing are some of the popular activities around Doe Lake, and can be enjoyed exclusively by visitors with a group reservation.

Campers can launch a canoe or low-powered boat and drop a line in the middle of Doe Lake for an afternoon of fishing.

This site is centered around a classic 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps dining hall that has been historically restored.

Tent camping is most common at this facility. RVs and horse trailers are allowed, but limited to specific areas that do not offer hookups. Restrooms with flush toilets and showers are provided, as are hitching posts for horses.Natural Features
