About This Access Site
Lake Havasu State Park offers excellent access to Lake Havasu, a scenic reservoir on the Colorado River near the iconic London Bridge in Lake Havasu City. This location features one of three dedicated boat ramps within the park, making it convenient for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters. Non-motorized watercraft are welcome at all ramps, and the park provides ample amenities including accessible parking, picnic areas, and nearby campsites.

The Colorado River at Lake Havasu is a major waterway with an average flow of 2,220 cubic feet per second and relatively gentle gradient—ideal conditions for recreational paddling and boating. From this access point, paddlers can explore 73 boat-in campsites along the Arizona shoreline or enjoy day trips on the calm reservoir waters. The park also offers boat rentals through its concessionaire and excellent fishing opportunities, making it a versatile destination for multi-day water-based recreation.

Note that water level fluctuations may occasionally affect ramp accessibility. Leashed pets and service animals are permitted at the park's day-use areas. For current conditions, hours, and specific amenities at this particular ramp, contact Lake Havasu State Park directly before your visit.
