Lake Hemet is a scenic reservoir located in Riverside County, California, offering access for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats. The main boat ramp is situated on the north shore of the lake, providing access to the open water.
The boat ramp area features paved parking for approximately 30 vehicles with trailers. Two boarding floats are available to assist with launching and loading your watercraft. However, it's important to note that inflatable kayaks, rafts, paddleboards, and jet skis are not currently permitted on the lake.
Boaters should be aware that the southern shore of Lake Hemet, opposite the campground, is off-limits both by water and by land. Additionally, all vessels must be at least 10 feet in length. The peaceful, protected waters of Lake Hemet offer excellent opportunities for recreational activities such as fishing, wildlife viewing, and enjoying the scenic natural surroundings.
