Lake Huntington

Lake Huntington offers a convenient public boat ramp on the western side of the lake with a paved surface ramp and parking for 5 vehicles with trailers. This is a town-managed facility operated by the Melville Parks & Recreation Department. Seasonal Boat Ramp Access Permits are required for commercial use, and recreational boaters should contact the Parks & Recreation Department for any access questions or permit information.

The lake is well-stocked with brown trout (1,800 stocked annually in spring) and also supports warm water fish species, making it a popular destination for anglers as well as paddlers. Located in Sullivan County near the Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River, this access point provides a good jumping-off point for exploring the local water resources. The modest parking capacity means this is best suited for smaller group outings rather than high-volume launch days.
