Lake Irving State Water Access Site

Located on the north shore of Lake Irving in Bemidji, this public access point sits adjacent to the Bemidji wastewater treatment facility and provides convenient entry to Lake Irving and the connected waterways. The launch is positioned near the outlet where Lake Irving connects northward to Lake Bemidji via a natural water channel, making it an ideal starting point for exploring this chain of lakes or paddling upstream on the Mississippi River inlet on the lake's southern shore.

The ramp accommodates boats up to 12-18 feet at most launch facilities. There are no launch fees unless the access is located within a park requiring a vehicle permit—be sure to check locally for any permit requirements.
