Lake Kapowsin

**Location & Facilities**
Lake Kapowsin's public boat ramp is located in Graham, Pierce County, and is managed by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife. The access site features a concrete launching ramp with floating dock, paved parking lot (including one ADA-accessible space), and a pit toilet restroom. The facility is open year-round and requires no hand launch or special equipment to access the water.

**What to Expect**
This is a well-maintained, relatively new access area (updated in 2006) suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. Lake Kapowsin is the northernmost lake in the Blue Water Lakes District and offers a fairly large water body for paddling and recreation. The site provides straightforward vehicle access with adequate parking for trailers. Note that camping is not permitted at the access area itself, though the surrounding region has nearby resorts and campgrounds available.

Before heading out, check current conditions and weather, as wind can be a factor on larger lakes. This is a public fishing access site, so expect to share the water with anglers and other boaters.
