About This Access Site
Located in a calm, protected cove on the Llano River arm of Lake LBJ near Horseshoe Bay, this access point features a one-lane concrete boat ramp suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The marina offers jet ski ramps and boat rentals on-site, with parking available for 20-30 boats and trailers. The sheltered cove setting makes this an excellent launch point for those seeking calm water paddling or recreational boating.

**Access & Directions:** From Highway 281, head west on Highway 2147 toward Horseshoe Bay. Turn onto Wirtz Dam Road following signs for Bay Marine and LBJ Marina. The ramp entrance is located between the Sail & Ski parking lot and Bay Marine facility, approximately 4 miles from Highway 281.

Lake LBJ is part of the scenic Texas Highland Lakes chain and offers excellent conditions for paddling, with the protected cove providing easy access for launching. The marina's full-service amenities make this a convenient stop for boaters exploring the Colorado River impoundment.
