Lake Leelanau (East)

The Lake Leelanau East access site is a **Michigan DNR boat launch located just south of M-204**, providing convenient access to both the north and south basins of Lake Leelanau through the Lake Leelanau Narrows. The site features a hard-surface ramp suitable for all trailerable watercraft, with minimum water depths of 2.5-3 feet at 20 feet from shore, ensuring reliable launching conditions throughout most seasons.

This is an excellent starting point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters exploring Lake Leelanau's crystal-clear waters and scenic shoreline in the heart of Michigan's wine country.
