About This Access Site
Lake Linka is a 178-acre lake in Pope County, Minnesota, offering public boat access via a launch ramp located on the east shore off Lake Linka Road in Terrace. The lake features a maximum depth of 50 feet, providing good water conditions for kayaking, canoeing, and recreational boating. There are no launch fees unless the site is located within a park requiring a vehicle permit.

**Important Note for Boaters:** This access point is shallow, which can be problematic for launching larger boats during low water periods. Most standard ramps accommodate 12-18 foot boats, though some can handle larger vessels. Paddlers and smaller watercraft should experience reliable access, but boaters with larger boats should check current water conditions before visiting, especially during dry seasons.
