Lake Louise State Park offers a convenient boat ramp and access site for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats on Lake Louise. The new ADA-accessible floating dock is located next to the recently upgraded boat launch, providing easy loading and unloading. The expanded parking area can accommodate more vehicles with boat trailers.
While the boat ramp is functional, users should note that the changing lake levels and normal wear and tear require ongoing maintenance. Boaters may need to back their trailers beyond the edge of the ramp to launch their vessels. The park also offers campsites, picnic areas, and other recreational amenities for visitors to enjoy the lake. For information on fishing licenses, bait, and regulations, contact the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. Boaters can access Lake Louise from the campground or inquire about rentals at the nearby Lake Louise Lodge.
