Lake Manatee State Park (20 Hp Motor Restriction)

Lake Manatee State Park offers a convenient double-access boat ramp facility for paddlers and boaters seeking easy entry to this 1,180-acre freshwater reservoir located east of Bradenton in Manatee County. The ramp is one of only two public access points to Lake Manatee and includes floating fishing docks nearby. A $4 boat ramp fee applies in addition to park entrance fees.

Important restrictions to note: all motorized boats are limited to engines of less than 20 horsepower, making this an ideal destination for kayakers, canoeists, and smaller recreational boats seeking a quieter paddling experience. Overnight mooring is not permitted.
