Located in Antioch at Sequoit Harbor on Lake Marie, this state-owned boat ramp provides free public access to the Fox Chain O'Lakes system. Lake Marie covers 585 acres and offers a substantial paddling and boating destination connected to the larger chain of lakes (Grass Lake at 1,451 acres and Fox/Nippersink Lake at 2,376 acres are also accessible). The ramp is well-suited for kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats of various sizes.
The access site features convenient parking near the launch area with only a short walk from parking to the ramp, making it easy to load and unload gear. Restroom facilities are available and well-maintained. As part of Chain O'Lakes State Park's free public access points, this location is an excellent starting point for exploring the interconnected chain of lakes in the area. Paddlers should note that some bridges connecting the lakes may have clearance restrictions for larger vessels, so plan your route accordingly.
