About This Access Site
**Location & Access**
Lake Martha is a public boat ramp located on the southeast corner of Martha Lake in Stanwood, Snohomish County, near Alderwood Manor. To reach the WDFW access site, take the 172nd Street NE exit from I-5, head west approximately 6 miles on Lakewood Drive to 84th Avenue NW, then turn right—the access is about 0.5 miles ahead. Note that vehicle access is closed from October 1 through the 4th Friday in April.

**Facilities & Recreation**
The WDFW-operated access provides a boat ramp, parking lot, and restroom facilities. Adjacent Martha Lake Park (Snohomish County Parks) offers additional amenities including expanded parking, restrooms, picnic areas, and two large fishing piers. This makes the site well-suited for both kayakers and canoeists launching onto the 59-acre lake, as well as motorboats. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout and also supports populations of largemouth bass and yellow perch.

**Practical Note**
Plan your visit between mid-April and late September when vehicle access is available. The site's combination of official boat ramp infrastructure and nearby park facilities makes it a straightforward, user-friendly access point for flat-water paddling and fishing.
