Lake Martha

Lake Martha is a small 97-acre lake located two miles southwest of Hanover in Wright County, Minnesota. The state-owned public access point is situated along the south shore and provides a convenient launching location for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats. The lake's maximum depth of 25 feet and average water clarity of six feet make it suitable for recreational paddling and fishing.

The boat ramp accommodates vessels up to 12-18 feet in length, typical of most launch facilities in the region. Parking is available for two to three vehicle/trailer combinations, making it best suited for smaller group outings. There are no launch fees at this access point, though vehicle permits may be required depending on any associated park regulations. Paddlers should plan accordingly given the limited parking capacity during peak use times.
