**Location & Access:** Lake McMurray is a 155-acre recreational lake located in Mount Vernon, Skagit County, Washington. To reach the southeast access point, take Exit 221 off I-5 and head east on Highway 534 to Highway 9, then turn right for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left on Lake McMurray Lane and continue to the end to reach the boat ramp.
**Facilities & Conditions:** This access site features a gravel boat ramp near the southeast corner of the lake with limited parking available. The area offers basic amenities, though parking capacity is restricted. For additional launching options, there is another ramp at the Martins Landing campground area on the west side of the lake, which offers shallow water access near a beach area.
**Best For:** Lake McMurray is suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats. The lake provides scenic paddling opportunities in the Skagit County area and is popular with anglers and recreational boaters. Paddlers should plan accordingly given the limited parking at this southeast access point and consider using alternative launches during peak times.
