About This Access Site
Lake Meridian Park in Kent offers a convenient public access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters via a concrete boat ramp and adjacent graveled launch area. The gravel section is ideal for hand-launching kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards, while the concrete ramp accommodates larger vessels. Note that the boat launch entrance is located off **152nd Way SE**, slightly east of the main park entrance, so plan accordingly for parking and vehicle access.

This is one of the few King County lakes that permit motorized boating, though Kent Police patrol the waters for safety compliance. The lake is known as a productive fishing destination (particularly for Kokanee), making it a popular spot that can get crowded during summer months. Be aware of local regulations, including the 100-foot buffer zone around the launch area where remote-controlled vessels are prohibited.
