Lake of Egypt

The Lake of Egypt boat ramp in Goreville provides public access to this 2,400-acre reservoir in southern Illinois. All size boat motors are permitted on the lake, and public access is guaranteed despite the lake being privately owned by the Southern Illinois Power Cooperative.
