About This Access Site
Located five miles east of Quanah in Hardeman County, Lake Pauline is a small 612-acre impoundment on Wanderers Creek that offers convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters. The facility includes a boat ramp, picnic areas, tent camping with hookups, and a bait and tackle shop on-site. The lake is stocked with crappie, largemouth bass, and Florida bass, making it a popular fishing destination.

**Access and Conditions:** Boat ramp access is adequate during normal water levels, though paddlers should check current lake conditions before launching, as ramp usability depends on water elevation. The shoreline consists primarily of sparse native vegetation and flooded trees, offering typical reservoir characteristics. The site does not have handicap-specific facilities.

This is an ideal spot for casual paddling and fishing trips in the Texas panhandle, with the added convenience of nearby camping and supplies for day trips or extended outings.
