About This Access Site
The Lake Pillsbury Resort Marina offers boat access to the beautiful 2,280-acre Lake Pillsbury in northern California's Mendocino National Forest. The marina features a launch ramp and docking facilities, as well as boat and kayak rentals for visitors. With 31 miles of shoreline, Lake Pillsbury is a popular destination for fishing, swimming, and recreational boating.

The launch ramp is located on the west side of the lake, near the resort's cabins and campsites. Up to 75 vehicle-trailer parking spaces are available. The marina also offers dry storage for up to 25 boats. However, there are no boarding floats at this access point. Paddlers and small boaters will find easy access to launch their craft directly from the ramp.

Camping is only permitted in the designated campgrounds around Lake Pillsbury, which are operated by Pacific Gas & Electric. The nearest campground is Fuller Grove Group Campground, about 10 miles away. Visitors should plan ahead and contact the resort or campground directly for the latest information on facilities, hours, and any applicable fees.
