This popular day-use access area near Riverdale off Highway 200 provides convenient entry to Lake Sakakawea for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters. The site features a boat ramp, bathroom facilities, and a fish cleaning station, making it well-suited for paddlers launching day trips or longer excursions on this expansive prairie reservoir.

Lake Sakakawea State Park also maintains additional ramp facilities nearby, including a multi-lane ramp on the west side and a single-lane ramp on the southeast side of the park, both with courtesy docks available.
