About This Access Site
Located on the east side of Lake Sarah off Highway 59 in Murray County, this public access site offers a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters. The facility includes a boat ramp, dock, and ample amenities including picnic shelter, restroom facilities, playground, grills, and benches. Access is first-come, first-serve with no reservations required.

Lake Sarah is a 1,209-acre lake with a maximum depth of 10 feet, making it relatively shallow and suitable for recreational paddling and fishing. The lake is known as one of the best walleye fisheries in Southwest Minnesota, attracting anglers year-round. The park itself spans 9.5 acres and is well-maintained, featuring a sandy beach swimming area and a handicap-accessible fishing pier, making it a family-friendly destination.
