About This Access Site
The Todds Point boat ramp provides convenient access to Lake Shelbyville, a major recreational lake in central Illinois. This U.S. Army Corps of Engineers developed access area features a four-lane launching ramp with a 175-car parking lot, making it well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. Note that a launch fee applies at this location, though free gravel ramps are available at state park areas elsewhere on the lake.

Lake Shelbyville offers a wide variety of water-based activities suitable for paddlers of all skill levels. The lake has multiple marinas nearby that rent boats and motors and provide boating and fishing supplies if needed. For extended trips, two campgrounds are within 10 miles: the reservable Wilborn Creek Group Camp and Sullivan Marina and Campground, both offering convenient overnight options for water sports enthusiasts.
