Lake Skinner Boat Ramp #2 is a public boat launch facility located on the southwestern shore of Lake Skinner in Riverside County, California. The ramp provides access to the 2,400-acre reservoir, which is popular for motorized boating, fishing, and other water sports.
The ramp features five carry-down walkways for launching small watercraft like kayaks and canoes. There is ample parking available for vehicles with boat trailers. However, the site does not have any boarding floats or docks. Boaters should be prepared to launch directly from the ramp.
Lake Skinner is a large, multipurpose reservoir owned and operated by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. The lake has a maximum depth of 130 feet and is stocked with a variety of game fish including bass, crappie, and catfish. Paddlers can explore the scenic lake and its surrounding hills and canyons, but should be aware of motorized boat traffic, particularly on busy weekends.
