About This Access Site
Located 8 miles southeast of Sidnaw in Iron County's Ottawa National Forest, the Lake St. Kathryn boat ramp provides convenient water access adjacent to the campground. The ramp and parking area are well-positioned for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats onto the lake. A day-use fee of $5 per vehicle applies from May 15–October 15, or visitors can purchase an annual pass for $30 that covers access to multiple regional recreation areas. A small beach and picnic area near campsite #13 offer additional amenities for day users.

The site works well as a base for paddlers exploring the lake, especially those interested in combining day trips with overnight camping. Facilities include drinking water from hand pumps and vault toilets throughout the campground. The nearby Deer Marsh Interpretative Trail at the campground's east entrance adds a hiking option for those spending extended time in the area. For reservations, campground information, or questions about fees and amenities, contact the on-site campground host or call 906-852-3500.
