Lake Stone

Lake Stone's unimproved gravel boat ramp is located on the northeast end of the lake in Escambia County and provides access to Wiggins Branch and the surrounding waterways. The ramp is a straightforward launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats looking to explore the area. This is a no-frills access site, so be prepared for a basic gravel launch surface rather than a paved facility.

The site is part of a larger recreational area that includes amenities such as parking, a handicapped-accessible fishing pier, picnic areas, restrooms/showers, and a small country store. An indoor pavilion and 77 campsites (with water and electric hookups) are available for those planning extended visits. The proximity to the Gulf of Mexico and Wiggins Pass makes this a practical launching point for anglers and boaters interested in exploring saltwater and nearshore environments.
