Lake Sugema Wildlife Area offers a well-developed boat launch facility on Tug Fork Big Indian Creek in Keosauqua, Van Buren County. The access point features a large asphalt boat ramp with ample parking, making it convenient for kayakers, canoeists, and larger watercraft. The surrounding Lake Sugema Wildlife Management Area encompasses approximately 3,000 acres and is designed as a high-quality fishing destination with stocked largemouth bass, walleye, bluegill, crappie, catfish, and saugeye.
The facility is well-equipped with amenities including restrooms, a modern showerhouse, camping areas with hard-surfaced pads and primitive sites, floating boat docks, fish cleaning stations, and picnic areas.
