About This Access Site
This year-round boat ramp facility provides access to Lake Sulphur Springs, a 1,340-acre impoundment on White Oak Creek near Sulphur Springs in Hopkins County. The ramp is located on the east side of the dam on FM 2285, making it convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The lake's maximum depth of 28 feet and calm conditions make it suitable for paddlers of all skill levels seeking a protected paddling environment.

The lake is popular with anglers targeting blue and channel catfish, crappie, and largemouth bass, so expect some fishing activity. Additional amenities in the South Sulphur Park area include a sandy swimming beach with breakwater, a fishing pier, and designated jet ski areas.
