Lake Tarleton is a 315–334 acre mountain lake located in Piermont, NH, within the White Mountain National Forest. This pristine water body is currently free of invasive aquatic species and offers excellent paddling and boating opportunities for kayakers, canoeists, and small recreational boats. A boat ramp is available on the south end of the lake, less than a quarter mile from the adjacent state park area, providing convenient access for launching.
The lake's elevated location in the White Mountains offers beautiful scenic views across the water and surrounding forest, making it an attractive destination for summer and winter recreation. The access site is situated near a picnic and beach area, though note that pets are not permitted at the state park.
