Lake Twenty-Six Park provides public boat access to Twenty-Six Lake, a 218-acre lake in Burnett County, Wisconsin. This moderately clear lake features a maximum depth of 45 feet and a sandy bottom (80%), making it suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. The lake is well-established for fishing, with populations of musky, northern pike, largemouth bass, and panfish, attracting anglers and recreational paddlers year-round.
When visiting, be aware that the lake bottom is predominantly sand with some gravel and muck areas, which affects anchoring and shallow-water navigation. Water conditions are generally good for paddling, though visitors should note that Chinese mystery snails (an invasive species) have been documented in the lake. As the primary public access point on the east side of the lake, this boat landing serves as the main entry point for exploring the 218-acre waterbody.
