About This Access Site
Located in Brunson, Hampton County near Highway 601, the Lake Warren (North) boat ramp provides access to Lake George Warren, a 400-acre freshwater lake in South Carolina's Atlantic Coastal Plain. This is one of two boat ramps available on the lake, making it a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboat operators. The ramp accommodates various watercraft and connects paddlers to Lake George Warren as well as the connected Black Creek and Brier Creek systems.

The access site is part of a well-developed recreational area that includes a fishing pier, picnic facilities, restrooms, and is handicap accessible—making it suitable for families and paddlers of varying abilities. Lake George Warren is a popular destination for fishing (largemouth bass, bluegill, and catfish are common), and the area also features nature trails and a two-acre fishing pond. The lake and surrounding park remain open for public use, and a South Carolina fishing license is required for anglers.
