**Location & Access:** This boat ramp is located at Lake Whitney State Park (Lofers Bend Day Use Park area) in Hill County, Texas, approximately 2 miles from the town of Whitney. Take FM 933 north and turn left on FM 1713 Spur to reach the end of the road where the park is located.
**Facilities & Usage:** The site features a 2-lane boat ramp open year-round with day-use fees charged April through September. Additional amenities include picnic areas, restrooms, swim beaches, and a playground, making it suitable for a full day of recreation. Note that Lake Whitney no longer accepts cash payments at USACE-operated facilities.
**Paddling Opportunities:** Paddlers launching here can explore Lake Whitney's 43,300+ acres or venture downstream on the Brazos River. Below the dam, there's a 43.3-mile flatwater run to State Highway 6 in Waco with at least a dozen additional access points, allowing trips of varying lengths. The river section is all flatwater with no major hazards, though boaters should remain alert for airboat traffic.
