Located on the east shore of Lake Whitney at mid-lake, this two-lane boat ramp offers reliable access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The facility includes a courtesy dock and dedicated vehicle parking. A key advantage of this ramp is its deep-water design, which allows for successful launch and retrieval even during low lake levels—useful information for planning trips during dry seasons. The ramp is open year-round, though day-use fees apply April through September.
**Getting There:** From Whitney, take FM 933 north and turn left on FM 2604; look for the Cedar Creek Park sign on the left side of the road. The site is operated by Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (254-694-3793) and is part of the larger Lake Whitney recreation area, which includes over a dozen parks managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Texas Parks & Wildlife, and Hill County. On-site fuel is also available at reasonable prices, making this a convenient refueling stop for longer outings on the lake.
