About This Access Site
Lake Wilhelmina is a 200-acre reservoir in Polk County, Arkansas, managed by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. The lake was constructed in 1958 on Powell Creek, a tributary of the Mountain Fork of the Little River.

The lake is known for its excellent bluegill and redear sunfish fishing. A single-wide concrete boat ramp, maintained by the commission, provides access to the lake on the southeastern side. The ramp is suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats. The maximum depth of the lake near the water level control tower is approximately 30 feet.

Paddlers and boaters should be aware that Lake Wilhelmina is a reservoir, with water levels that can fluctuate seasonally. Consult local sources for the latest conditions before planning your visit. The boat ramp and associated parking area provide a convenient access point to explore the lake and its scenic surroundings.
