About This Access Site

The area sits just below the Continental Divide between Idaho and Montana, offering access to both lake and river recreation opportunities.

The immediate area supports fishing, wildlife viewing, and exploration of the Henry's Lake Wilderness Study Area, where 350 acres of BLM-managed public lands feature riparian vegetation and natural habitat. Lonesomehurst Campground is available nearby for overnight stays. Note that camping is limited to 10 days within any 30-day period. Road conditions can be challenging during wet or snowy weather, so check conditions before visiting. All pets must be leashed, and standard leave-no-trace practices apply.
