About This Access Site
**Lakeside Park West** offers excellent access to Lake Winnebago, one of Wisconsin's largest inland lakes, with twelve concrete launch lanes and dedicated trailer parking. A $5 daily permit or $30 annual permit is required. The facility operates 24 hours, making it convenient for early morning or evening paddling. This is a well-developed, high-capacity launch suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and larger recreational boats.

Beyond the boat launch, Lakeside Park is a full-service recreation destination with kayak and canoe rentals available for those without their own equipment. The 400-acre park includes a marina, handicapped-accessible fishing platforms, picnic areas, and pavilions—ideal for paddlers who want to combine water time with other activities. The park also features a scenic lighthouse, playground, splash pad, and various family amenities, making it a good spot for a full day outing.
