Lambs Creek Park

**Location & Access:** Lambs Creek Park offers a boat ramp and carry-in access to Tainter Lake on the Red Cedar River in Menomonie, Dunn County. This is a publicly-owned facility providing straightforward launch options for paddlers and boaters.

**What to Expect:** Tainter Lake is a dammed impoundment of the Red Cedar River, resulting in calm, lake-like paddling conditions rather than river current. Be aware that much of the shoreline is heavily developed. For a more scenic paddle, consider the 1.2-mile route from Lambs Creek Park to Kleist Boat Landing on the north shore, or explore alternative access points upstream at 22-Mile Ford Park for access to the free-flowing Red Cedar River before it enters the lake impoundment.
