Located in Sheshequin Township near Towanda, Larnard Hornbrook Park offers convenient access to the Susquehanna River at River Mile 275.5. The park features a dedicated boat ramp suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats onto the North Branch Susquehanna River. This is a good access point for paddlers exploring Section 3 of the Susquehanna River Water Trail – North Branch.
The 30-acre county park provides ample amenities beyond river access, including RV sites with hookups, tent camping, shower and restroom facilities, and picnic pavilions. To reach the park, take Route 6 in North Towanda and head east on James Street (State Route 1041). The park also maintains a second parcel on an island in the river with additional boat access for those looking to explore the waterway further.
