Laurel Hill Lake Boat Ramp provides convenient public access to this 63-acre reservoir nestled in Laurel Hill State Park near Seven Springs in Somerset County. The ramp is approximately 25 feet wide, accommodating boats of various sizes, and the lake features 30 mooring sites and two boat launches for paddlers and boaters. The calm, protected waters of this impoundment make it an excellent destination for recreational kayaking, canoeing, and motorboating.
In addition to water-based activities, the area offers excellent trail access along Hemlock Trail, which parallels the creek from the head of Laurel Hill Lake upstream to Buck Run. Parking is available at both ends of the trail, making it easy to plan paddling or hiking excursions. The creek can also be accessed via Conestoga Boy Scout Camp and Buck Run Roads, though these routes may be limited during winter months.
